Not a day goes by when I don’t encounter someone talking about stress—whether it’s personal, social, or professional. Stress is a constant topic of conversation. While some people discuss how they manage it, or at least try to, others remain puzzled about what to do about it.

I began observing how and why people, including myself, get stressed. The results of my observations were quite revealing. Our daily lives are filled with countless factors that contribute to stress. However, while we often discuss stress itself, we rarely address the underlying causes—the real culprits. I call them demons.

Stress, in this context, becomes the master demon, fed by numerous servant demons.

Some of these demons will be very familiar to you: Worry, Comparison, Regret, and Ego, to name a few. You’ll likely recognize them from your own experiences. But there are others that might not immediately come to your mind, such as “Past, Present & Future” and “Our Love for Over-Encouragement,” among others.

There are countless resources and professional advice available on managing stress, and my aim isn’t to add another one to the pile. Instead, I offer a new perspective on defeating the stress demon by bringing its servant demons under control.

We all harbor various demons within us, whether we like it or not, and we constantly battle them. If we can understand these demons and learn how to control them, we can manage stress more effectively. But this is no easy task—after all, we are human.

In this book, I’ve explored these internal demons, how we unwittingly feed them, and how they, in turn, harm us, as that is their true nature.

Interestingly, like many things in life, these demons have a brighter side, which makes it difficult to eliminate them entirely from our system. However, despite their bright sides, we cannot allow them to dominate our lives. Their dark sides overwhelmingly outweigh their benefits, which is why they are demons.

Thus, the challenge becomes mastering the art of living with these demons in a way that allows us to harness their bright sides while keeping their dark sides in check.

Every day, we face difficult and unwanted situations, and the way we handle them defines who we are. In addition to these demons, we are also blessed with angels within us. By nurturing these angels, we can bolster our efforts against the demons.

This book will also discuss these angels in our system Just as demons serve their master, stress, all angels work to empower their guardian, peace, which is the state of balance and inner tranquility we all seek.

The key message of this book is that a direct confrontation with the stress demon is a losing battle because it is constantly empowered by its servant demons.

To win the war against stress, we must first defeat these other demons, with the help from the angels bestowed to us. As they weaken, the stress demon will also lose its power, making it easier for us defeat it, and in the process the guardian angel peace will become stronger.

Additinally, I’ve shared some of my theories I’ve developed from my own life experiences, explaining how they help me in my fight against these demons.

Throughout these pages, I’ve discussed various demons, angels, and shared my personal theories, but my primary goal has always been to spark new thoughts in your minds and to empower you in your own battles against the demons you face. Thank you for embarking on this journey with me.
